*Limited Edition* Red Desert Alpaca Flower Pot
Here is our Limited Edition Red Desert Flower Pot...Bringing you my two homes and the two pieces of my heart together in one little 'pot'.
The red sand and handmade paper from my family's cattle station Curtin Springs in the NT, and 'Alpaca Flowers' from mine and my husband's property in Central West NSW.
What is it exactly?
It is a black, white and latte 'alpaca flower' in a pot of the magnificent red sand from the heart of Australia.
Black for the Desert Oaks - strength
White for the Paper Daisies - beauty
Latte for the colour of the grasses - hope
(With one stem on barbed wire to keep the husband and father happy 😉)
Also comes with a bookmark made from Curtin Springs Paper - handmade paper from the native grasses.
How?
Our homegrown alpaca fleeces have been felted into 'flowers' to create these one of a kind flower pots, with the remarkable red sand from Central Australia and up-cycled rusty wire. The felting is light so the flower tops have texture, character and a bit of fuzz to make them more lovable.
The colours are all natural, the felting done by hand, and they have been constructed with love.
These flowers have made it through the years of drought without water, they won't wilt or die and will be beautiful forever.
The flower pots are just on 14cm high and the flower stems range from 15-25cm high.
Available only until the end of March while I'm spending time with family and making paper in the Paper Mill at Curtin Springs. First orders will be shipped from 11th March - please allow additional delivery time as these orders are being shipped from the Central Australian Desert.
SHIPPING NOTE: these flower pots can be shipped anywhere, however will have to be shipped de-constructed to protect them through transport. All the parts will be there for you to just add the sand and the flowers back into the glass pot.
**These items are all handmade and one of a kind. There are a limited number available and even though the design, colours and felting are all the same, the individual pieces all vary slightly. It's part of the charm of buying handmade.**
